Christian Network Against Caste Discrimination (CNACD) is planning to hold a second International Conference at Amigo Hall on 9-10 May 2017.  Cardinal Turkson, from  the Vatican, Bishop  Pat  Lynch, Lord David Alton and Bishop Richard Harries will be among the speakers.  Some participants and speakers are coming  from  India.   CARJ is supporting and participating in the Conference and is part of a Christian Network Against Caste Discrimination (CNACD) which is led by Voice of Dalit International and St Anselm’s Parish Southall.   CNACD has been campaigning for the government to activate an amendment to the Equality Act which would make clearer that caste discrimination is illegal.
