This is the first of the six summer 23 webinars, The Changing Face of Britain – A Brief History 1945-2023 – was recorded Saturday 27th May. Contains discussion on the Windrush and migrations from the Caribbean, from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh (mostly Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs), Asians from East Africa, EU citizens after the UK joined the EU, and further migrations over recent decades. Additional discussion was on where people settled and how they settled in the UK and developments since Britain left the EU and data from the 2021 Census.
