CARJ Christmas Appeal

Dear Friends of CARJ
As Christmas approaches, I’m writing to ask you to consider making a donation to the work of CARJ.

During the past year CARJ has been very active,  working to raise awareness of:

  • Recent developments in public policy and how it may affect diversity, equality and community in the UK.
  • Schools, families and young people in marginalised communities
  • Issues for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities
  • Caste discrimination in the UK

Most recently, at our AGM, we featured a talk by Chine McDonald, author of God is not a White Man.

In all this, we worked with others, from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, to read the signs of the times and to discern how we might address together the local, national and global challenges we all face.  A full report of our work over the past year is available here

Although the work of CARJ is more important than ever, some of our traditional funding is no longer available. So, we are coming to you at Christmas to ask you to remember us with a financial donation. We are truly grateful for any support you can give.

We welcome cheques made out to ‘CARJ’, or bank payments to CARJ’s account:
HSBC Account Name- Catholic Association for Racial Justice
Sort code: 40-42-18 Account No: 22 88 57 86

Please email info@carj.org.uk if you would like further information.

With every best wish for a happy Christmas and blessings in the New Year.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Yogi Sutton
Chair of CARJ
