Improving Education for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Young People

Despite serious efforts to overcome poverty and inequality, we remain a divided and unequal society, and too often young people from marginalised communities have to struggle to realise their full potential. This meeting will address the challenges facing young people from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Communities in the UK and how we can better support them..

- The CARJ Traveller Support Network
- Other organisations and Networks
- and Individuals with an interest in educations

The meeting will take place at the CARJ Office, 9 Henry Road, London N4 2LH. The CARJ Office is in the basement of St Thomas More Church and is a short walk from Manor House Underground Station. Leave the Station via Exit 5; and walk along Seven Sisters Road toward Finsbury Park Station. Take the first turning on the left (Portland Rise) and then the second turning on the right (Henry Road). Refreshments will be available from 11:00am and a sandwich lunch will be provided.
