CARJ Welcomes the Interim Statement of the UN Rapporteur on Racism
CARJ made a submission to the UN Rapporteur on Racism Ms. E. Tendayi Achiume who recently finished her visit to the UK. During her visit, we also participated in a round table event where she discussed issues with NGO’s (non governmental organisations). She has now completed her visit to the UK and published a lengthy Interim Statement of her findings.
She will continue to receive submissions and will make her final Report to UNHRC in June 2019. Please find attached, CARJ’s Submission and a brief Note on her End of Mission Statement.
